Ron, thanks for questions. My maternal grandfather was Warden King Freeland, 1904-1995. His parents were James William Freeland, 1855-1948, and Lizzie Neely Brahm (not Braham), 1864-1912. Jim's parents were Andrew Jackson Freeland, 1832-1862 and Louisa King (Koenig) Freeland Wilburn, 1835 and lived a long life, often taking in orphans.
Earl was Warden's much older brother, but I don't have dates. My mom told me today that he lived to about 70 and was killed in Oakland, MD by a train. My dad told me that he worked in a sawmill with an Earl Glotfelty.
James Mason, in a picture I just received, looks to be in high school. Photo is dated 1958. So I assume 65 or so today? His mom was Lucille Freeland, d/o Earl.
