Found in History of Monroe co, WV 1918: the Dec. court 1780 was called to examine James Stuart on suspicion of murdering John Estill. Found guilty. Phillip Hammond, mary Faight, William Bradshaw were bound 100 pounds each to appear at Richmond as witnesses. Does anyone have more information on this murder? Who was James Stuart?
