Hi Gordon-- I'm the 5-great-granddaughter of John Ashcraft and Charity Evans through their daughter Mary Elizabeth Ashcraft. Mary was married to Robert Boyce. This is some info I have: John Ashcraft (abt 1739 - abt 1832) m(1st) to Elizabeth Evans Children: 1. Amos 2. Uriah (5 Apr 1762 - 21 Apr 1842) m. Sarah E. McIntire ------------------------------------ John Ashcraft (abt 1739 - abt 1832) m(2nd) to Charity Evans (abt 1738 - 9 Apr 1813) Children: 1. Sarah "Sallie" (1766 - before June 1838) m. Aaron J. Sharp (1766 - abt 1841) 2. Levi (1768 - before 1830) m. Rebecca Watkins 3. John V (1772 - after 1850) m. Dorcas Elizabeth Glover 4. Ezekiel (1775 - 15 Mar 1830) (***My 4-great grandfather) m. Hester Hardin-Oatley 5. Mary Elizabeth (abt 1780 - 11 July 1858) (***My 4-great grandmother) m. Robert Boyce My 3-great grandparents are Ezekiel's daughter Rebecca who married her first cousin Robert Boyce, son of Mary Elizabeth Ashcraft Boyce. (Stop laughing! It happens. haha!)
