I would like to find someone that could tell me about how my Uncle Lloyd died in a plane crash off the coast of California. Lloyd was a Marine Corp Pilot and was supposedly practicing landing on a carrier. We were told that he overshot the carrier and there was no trace of him or his plane. This accident happened sometime in February of 1946. Lloyd left 2 small girls, Sherrie and Carla, whom I have lost contact with. Sherrie should be about in her 60's.
