Scott, thank you for the reply. I did have Benjamin as the son of Benjamin and Mary Welding. But, I have since found a few items that indicate this son of Benjamin and Mary Welding was born April 21, 1806 and was married to Patience Heston, not Ruth Ridge. The census records that I have for my ancestor indicate that he was born about 1804.
