I am a reference librarian at Bull Street Library in Savannah, GA. I found this information for a customer and thought someone else on GenForum may benefit from these details.
The researcher was especially interested in his death. In volume III, page 352 of the Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia, it says, "Mr. Williamson committed suicide at his home in Waycross, Sept. 6, 1880. He was afflicted at the time with a bad face cancer, and despaired of recovering. He was buried in the cemetery at Kettle Creek Church where his wife had been buried." If your local library does not have a copy of this book, you might ask your local library to attempt an interlibrary loan so you can read the actual book. Copies of this book series are in the Family History Library, but not on microfilm yet.
I do not know anything further about this man or his family.
