There is a Wiley whose ancestry is traced to Pope County, Arkansas who has participated in the Wiley yDNA project. See http://www.familytreedna.com/public/wileyfamilydnastudy/default.aspx?section=yresults It is interesting that he matches another Wiley who was never in Arkansas but whose likely ancestry may trace to Pennsylvania. It would be beneficial to ALL to have additional Wileys of Arkansas participate in this study and then perhaps we could finally come to some understanding about the relationships of such well known families as Andrew Jackson Wiley who m. Rebecca Cato to some of the other families. I am happy to answer any questions regarding this research and the use of this new and invaluable technic to our genealogy research!
