Freddy Everts was taken worse, and on Thursday and Friday it was supposed he could not live, but Friday night he rested some and on Saturday was a little better. During the day he did not gain any and early on Sunday morning died. Freddy was one of the best boys of his age in the village. He was a little gentleman, in every respect. He was never seen with the street-corner loafers, or was he ever heard to use profane or vulgar language. Those with whom he was in the habit of associating will profit by heeding the example set by him. Owing to the nature of the disease, diphtheria, the body was buried on Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Everts will have the sympathy of the community in this bereavement.
