F. B. Goss, one of the old settlers of this section, died suddenly at his residencs (sic) on the North side, Friday evening. About two weeks since he had a sick spell but recovered from it so that he was around attending to his affairs as usual, and went to Oshkosh on Thursday. About twelve o’clock on Friday night, he told his wife that he thought he was going to have another sick spell. The doctor was summoned but it was of no avail, at about two o’clock he breathed his last. He leaves a wife, and family of grown up children. The funeral was held at the family residence, on Monday at 10:30. The services were conducted by Rev. Rossiter, at the conclusion of which the body was taken to the Junction for burial.
