Omro Weekly Journal April 25, 1878 p. 3 DIED In Omro, April 18th, 1878, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Edna J. Raymond after a lingering illness of nearly ten weeks. Her disease was cancer, and she was a great sufferer. Mrs. Raymond's age was 76 years, 9 months and 2 days. She was born in Whiting Vermont, and moved to Wisconsin with her family twenty-seven years ago. During her residence in this State, she buried three sons and a son-in-law, all soldiers in the late war, and five years ago her husband, Joseph H. Raymond, was taken from her. She was a member of the Baptist church over fifty years. The funeral services were held at the house, Rev. O.W. Babcock officiating. Our mother is gone, and we miss her. Mrs. A. Van Kleeck.
