WHITACRE, Mark & _____(?)____, 29 January 1767; Francis TAYLOR, Abner BAKER, bondsmen... This marriage took place in Rowan Co. NC. and it's known that Francis Taylor was Mark Whitaker's step-father. I'm trying to find out the name of Mark's bride and her connection to Abner Baker. I am also trying to find out some information on Josiah Isaac Baker married Prudence Whitaker, 16 Nov. 1807, Pulaski Co., KY. My 4th g-grandparents were James & Elizabeth nee Baker Arnold. I suspect my 4th g-grandmother, Elizabeth nee Baker Arnold, b. 1787, NC, was the daughter of Andrew Baker, b. -1765, NC. It looks like my Baker & Whitaker Families were not only closely linked in Pulaski & Laurel Cos., KY, but also in NC. Any information regarding these families would be "greatfully" appreciated.
