I have information on 3-generations of wheelocks stemming from Ireland (Dublin) back to around 1850 that arent included on either the American or British sites about Wheelock genealogy. I am trying to figure out where they fit in.

Due to the death of Terence Wheelock in Garda custody 2 years ago, I am finding it hard to contact any Wheelocks in Dublin (despite having contact with Denise (i believe Terence's cousin) over a year ago. I know for a fact that Terence had 9 siblings, does anybody know how I could contact them? Perhaps they have information on the previous Dublin Wheelocks and might be interested in their family history.

I have ancestors going back to the 1911 census in Dublin (only one Wheelock family is listed, and that they are my ancestors). Does anybody else have a link to these people in the 1911 Census? (available www.nationalarchives.ie) I know there were other Wheelocks in Wexford, but I just need to link the Dublin ones to the larger family tree.

The father of the Dublin household (died before 1911 but dont know when) was called Samuel James Wheelock. He also had a son Samuel James WHeelock (my g-grandfather) but he wasnt on the census as he was serving in the Army (Leinster Regt). There may have been a couple of other siblings from this family not living in Dublin at the time also.

Short of going to Dublin myself and trying to find out how these Dublin Wheelocks relate to the American and British ones, by trying to search all BMDs 1911 backwards, can anyone provide any help with this?

I am more than glad to send any information on my Wheelocks and have many old photographs.

Many Thanks
