My husband is a "double" descendant of Roelf Westervelt and I have been doing a little research on the family. Do you have the book "Genealogy of the Westervelt Family" - Walter Tallman Westervelt? It is a good start - there are a few errors - mostly of omission - that I have found but it is still a very good research book.
