I have a family record of Westbrooks coming from Knox Co, Ohio, to Clinton Co, Mich. This was written by a gr-granddau of James Westbrook, born Va. 1821. His parents were Samuel (born 1783) and Rebecca. James married a Catherine and his daughter was also Catherine. James had a brother William. All moved to Greenbush, MI, during the 1850s. The grave of Samuel has a veterans marker. Does anyone know if the Knox Co. Westbrooks were from Virginia or perhaps were part of the Dutch Westbrooks? LS
