Watt- Oliphant Watt - Hair I am looking for anyone related to the Watt Family, Lanarkshire, Glasgow, Scotland. Circa 1870 - 1956 I have two leads. Margaret Watt B: 1875/76 married John Smith Oliphant B: 1875 - 1900 Glasgow Scotland Had four Children Margaret Oliphant B: 1900 Jack Oliphant B: 1903 Eleanor Oliphant B: 1910 Josephine Oliphant B: 1914 Jane Watt B: 1877 to Obadiah Hair B: 1879 Married 1899 Glasgow Scotland Had four Children Obadiah Hair B; 1899 Glasgow Scotland Sarah Nicole Hair B; 1902 Glasgow Scotland Joseph Hair B: 1909 New York USA Catherine Hair B: 1912 New York USA They left Glasgow, Scotland cira 1906 and emigrated to New York USA. The 1930 census has the Hair family residing on 150th st. in Bronx N.Y.and lists a Jack Oliphant also B; Glasgow Scotland 1903 is a nephew of the Hairs/Watts. I am assuming that the two Watt women are cousins. They had different mothers from the McAuley lineage and different fathers from the Watt Lineage.
