STATE OF VERMONT ROSTER OF SOLDIERS IN THE WAR OF 1812-14, 1933:
<excerpt> By 1814 the entire male population of Vermont–aged from sixteen to sixty–volunteered for service on the occasion of the invasion of Plattsburg.
But there were scattering detachments that saw service elsewhere outside the state, principally in New York [NY] at the campaign of 1814 on the Niagara frontier in the battles of Chippewa Plain, Lundy's Lane and Fort Erie.
<excerpt> The peace treaty was signed on Dec. 24, 1814. T.H.J.
