I appear to have a Nicholas Wanostrocht Straker in my tree who was born Jan 1784 and died 1851 (none of this have I managed to verify at present) He apparently married three times. Married Elizabeth Vaughan Giving him 4 children, Nicholas Wanostrocht b.1805,Benjamin Vaughan b.1807 d.1808, William Livermore b.1809 d.1810, Henry b.1811 d.1811 Married Elizabeth Hurry Cross (possibly 1841 in West Derby) Giving him 9 children,John Cross b.1813,James hurry b.1813 d,1814, Elizabeth Hurry b.1814, Mary b.1816, Charlotte Augusta,Lydia Ann b.1819, Edward Cross b. 1822 d.1876,Samuel Cross b.1824 d.1829. Married Jane Palmer (emigrated to America) The BIG Question is HOW WERE THE 9 CHILDREN born to his 2nd wife all apparently before he married her, I do not know when his 1st wife died/divorced. All this info. has come from a tree left to me and appently compiled in about 1840 by Henry Wanostrocht Straker, the Grandson of Nicholas Wanostrocht Straker. Any info. or help/advice gratefully received.
