George, George Silas Walls m. Amanda Shanks 1/24/1884 in Freestone Co. TX. I have a copy of the Marriage Record. They can also be found on Ancestry.com. No vital statics for either are listed but Ancestry.com lists one son, William Edward Walls, b. 8/15/1890, Cotton Gin, Freestone Co., TX, d. 3/25/1947 Temple, Bell Co., TX. I think he is the same person as Silas Wauls found on the 1880 US Census for Freestone, Texas 20 yrs old from GA, son of Susan Gipson, 45 from GA. Other children of Susan listed in the household are Seaborn Wauls, 23 from GA, James Wauls 17 from AR, Wm. Anglin, 11 from TX and Annie Gipson 7 from TX. I think this is the family of my grt grndfthr Samuel Seyborn Wauls, who, according to my family records was b. 12/24/1860 in Fl., d. 3/17/1928 in Belton, Bell County, TX, m. Lura Louisane Duke 12/16/1885 in Fairfield, Freestone County, TX. I don't know anything about Samuel Seyborne's family and am deducing this connection from the census records, the fact the my ggrdfthr was in the same county, and the unique name of Seyborne Wauls. I have quite abit of information on his descendents. However, it would be wonderful to finally have some information as to his roots. I think there maybe a connection. I appreciate any information you might have about this family. Lauren
