Trying to locate Cameron Hicks. He posted info Ancestry re John Allen Wallis & Sarah Granger, Iredell, NC. I am descended from Mathew F Wallis & Sarah Sneed. Believe John Allen is son of Mathew's brother (John?}. Have a transcription of a letter of condolance dated 22 Dec 1821 from John & Sarah Wallis, addressed to Sarah Wallis, Iredell, NC. Mentions "my beloved (ole?) cousin died". Mathew died 26 Sep 1821. Should you know Cameron ask him to drop me a line. Thanks much.
