Looking for information on a Wallis family that probably lived around Alex City, Alabama or, possibly, Jefferson County. Don't know the father's name, but the wife was named Mary Frances, and one daughter was named Nola Kate (born about 1909). Mary Frances remarried a Mr. Whitehead after Mr. Wallis died, and Nola Kate married Lon Dewey Whitfield in 1926. If anyone knows the father's name (Wallis father, that is) and/or anything about this family, please contact me--and thanks!
