Dear Rich,

Just want to make sure that I understand. Are you saying that Asaph (b 1816), Arca (d 1873, m Mary _____ ), Eliza, and Moses are all the children of Samuel W. Walling and Alice Payne?

Also, do you happen to have any dates/places for the Samuel Walling who married Alice Payne? I just wonder if he might be the Samuel Walling who is in 1850 Calhoun County Michigan census in the household of a John Rundle. This Samuel is shown as "Saml Walling, 56, m, laborer, b NY."

Do you have any dates/places for Alice Payne Walling?

Finally, I assume that your information comes from family charts that you might have inherited from older relatives. If so, lucky you. But re the chart -- you state, "It also lists first child of Arca and Mary as Morrell who married in 1847, no name listed." Is it possible that the chart says that the Morrell was born in 1847, rather than married in 1847? I'm just trying to figure out this family. In looking at the other dates, it seems to me that Arca would be too young to have a child marrying in 1847.
