I am searching biographical information on a certain William A. Walling for my book on the international labor movement.
William Walling was director of the American 'Labor Chest for the Relief and Liberation of Workers in Europe', between 1934-1936.
This Chest financed the underground resistance against Hitler in Europe. Walling died on sept. 12th. 1936 in Amsterdam, while he was attending a conference of German trade-unionists.
