A search for "Jonathan Kennon Thompson Smith" will produce a link to "A Genealogical Miscellany of Henderson Co., TN II" abstracted by this author-researcher. There will be "three Henderson Co. items." The last will be from The Jackson Gazette July 9, 1825. It names heirs of Elisha Wallen, deceased. This should clear up a lot of questions..and also require changes to a number of web sites. IF these are ALL his heirs, then hopefully we can attribute misplaced people to his brothers! I am under the impression that Agnes and Bennet Maness...was Murrah/Murray, and that this is an error. But I don't know for sure! The notice also confirms Lucy Wallen's lst husband, Joseph Williams. And, at the time of the filing of the lawsuit, daughters Catherine and Judith were not married. I do not know when the suit was filed.
