My great grandfather Anders Gustav Wallin grew up in a town called Norrtalje Sweden. He was born in 1832. The house he grew up in is rather famous now, it is called Wallinska Gardana. I do not know his exact history in regard to siblings. Wallinska gardana was one of the only buildings left standing when the Russians burned the town to the ground while retreating in WW 1 (?). I know there are a lot of Wallin's out there but this might be a good place to start for quite a few. Anders had 8 children with his wife Magarita Louisa Janson.
David Nathanael (lived only a year), Ester, Lydia (emigrated to the US in 1886, traveled to the Yukon for the gold rush then settled in the LA area), David Nathanael, Josef (emigrated to the US in 1888), Johannes (emigrated to the US with Josef), Joshua (emigrated to the US in 1890, opened a book bindery in the North End of Boston), and Emma Maria. The children that did not emigrate to the US stayed in Sweden and most had families. Perhaps some of these names may ring a bell for some of you. I am just recently getting more into my family history and learning more and more from family members. Perhaps some of this can be helpful
