They are listed with children Baxter B.(b.1826), Margaret(b.1833), Frederick(b.1835), and James(b.1844) with all the children being born in VA. Next door to them is a Joseph Walling 28M farmer, presumably another son of Elisha. The parents, Elisha and Hannah, likely came from the area of Caswell Co., NC as Baxter married an Elizabeth Peterson whose father also came up to Scott, VA from neighboring Caswell, NC. Do you know if Elisha Walling is also the father of older children, ie. John Walling b.1808, and Jesse Walling b.1812?
