Hello,

I am trying to determine if there is any relationship between the Starr men who witnessed this deed and Martin and Catherine Wallock/Walke/Wallick, or are they simply neighbors.

Casper Starr also went to Rowan County, North Carolina by about 1783.

--- Culpeper Co. Deeds 1782-1794, pp.581-583 This Indenture made 20th day of March in year of our Lord 1782 Between Martin Wallock in North Carolina in Rowan Co. & Catharine his Wife of one part and Daniel Marek of County of Shenandoah of the other part, Witnesseth that Martin Wallock and his Wife in consideration of the sum of Ninety pounds.......one hundred acres more or less lying in Culpeper Co. on the Robinson River.

Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of:
Casper Starr
Daniel RailsBack
Solomon Wallock
John Starr
Jacob Starr

Martin (X) Wallock
Catharine (X) Wallock

Proved by oath of Casper Starr.

Any lead appreciated.
