G'Day Sheila, Thanks for that info, what is the full address for the BMD site? Yes, we may be long lost cousins many times removed or something. I'm still trying to go back beyond Henry James Wallen, I have the feeling that the surname may have been written as Wallin & Wallyn, I have found christening details on the IGI site with those spellings, just need more confirmation in births.I gues inthose days a lot of people couldn't write or read.
