Can anyone give me any information on the John R. Wallen who married Eleanor (Elender, Eandor) Stapleton? In 1860, his name is recorded in Barry Co., MO, as John B. Wallen, but the wife and kids are the same. In 1870, he is in Madison Co., Arkansas, and by 1880 he is deceased. Who is he. Does anyone know his parents? I don't know the reason, but he and Eleanor raised my great-grandmother. I'd appreciate any help. I can't connect John R. with any other Wallens. Ron mcouch@cablelynx.com
