Hello again.
I went on my GED file and found out that we are 7th cousins. So we are blood relatives!!!!

Also, I notice in my GED file that you were born February 19, 1961 in Chattanooga, TN.

Back in the late 1990's my husband and I attended at Walling Family Reunion. Estes Alder (who lives at Signal Mt., TN picked us up at the motel and took us to the reunion at the Wallen/Walling Cemetery. He showed us Wallen's Ridge and Wallen's Creek that Elisha (the Longhunter) Walling named for himself. In facnt, Elisha Wallen/Walling pitched his first camp on Wallen's Creek near Hunter's Gap in Powell's Mountain, now Lee Co., VA.

Anyway, can you please tell me what you may know about this cemetery. I remember seeing a lot of names that I have in my GED file. I wish I had wrote down the information then, but I didn't and now I would like to find out more. Can you possibly help me.

And are you a member of the "so called" or whatever it is not called Walling Heirs Association that Beatrice Jeanette (Bea) Thompson (who was last married to Pat Earl Thedford) is the head of. She also lives at Signal Mt., TN. I was a member for over 12 years but dropped our about five years ago. I wish them every success, but just couldn't see anything happening in my lifetime.

Also do you know who the real wife of James W. Walling (born July 27, 1746 Lunenburg Co., VA is? Some say she was Mary White. Other say she is Mary Pugh. Some same both are buried at the Pugh Cemetery, Grant, Grayson Co., VA. Do you have any further infor on this.

Your cousin, Joann
