More Wallen (sometimes Walden) family information from Indian Applications. The Elisha Walden (below) who died during the Civil War was actually Elisha Wallen.

(Note: In researching this family, I have found that Jerry M. Walden is sometimes Jeramiah, Elizabeth is called Bett by the family, Fannie E. has been listed as Sara E., Becca is really Mary Rebecca, and Serena is once listed as Marinda. Also, Elisha Walden, son of John and Nancy Young Walden, was in the Civil War and died soon after from the black smallpox.)
