Linda, What about the book "Elisha Wallen, The Longhunter" by Carolyn D. Wallin? Do you have this book. It is still available, I think. It was published in 1990. There is a great deal of info on your family in it. I do not know if you can purchase the Wilder books or not. The sources for the information on your family are Kenneth E Walden from McLean Va,Aimee Lee Williams Gilson, Alma Arkansas, Tom Walden "The Walling Family", as well as the Wilders in Carolyn Wallin's book. On my previous message I was checking the wrong Joseph, James sequence. Have you noticed in your line that Joseph with a son James occurs twice? The most recent information that I located in any of the books was on James "Jimmy Dry" Wallen b 1884 d. 1951 who married Laura Young. I did not locate anything on your parents.
