Longhunter, one of three Elisha's I believe, ended up in Missouri. There is an old text (rare book) used years ago in Kentucky called "Elisha Wallen; The Long Hunter." A recent book on Daniel Boone uses the same name. They were successful hunters, mostly fur trappers, out of Western Appalacia but unlike such men in films, often having larg farms. Furs bought in large amounts of money. Both men are said to have gone over the Cumberland Gap. I think if you check some records, you will find that boon went through Wallen country there.
