Ron #16 on these census is my family: Alex, Mary Ann, and children. Do you know if or how all of these families relate? I have thought for years they must as so many of them were born in TN. May family came from Greasy Rock, Hawkins county TN, documented on rejected Cherokee application. They left TN middle to late 1840's are on the Cass county MO census 1850, Madison county AR 1860, Carroll county AR 1870. From what little documents I have Mary Ann's name was really Mourning/Morning. Believe her maiden name was either Burk or Williams. These Wallen/Walden were related to John D (Delaney) Burk and for years all moved and lived by each other. Mary Ann/Mourning might have been John Burks sister, as on the 1850 MO census John's mother Lucinda Burk is listed in Alex and Mourning's household, John and his family next door. Would appreciate any insight you might have on any or all of these Wallen/Waldens.

Thanks for your time,
Pat
