Robert is my Great Grandfather. In 1881, England Census he signed up in the 109th Regiment of Foot at Aldershot, Hampshire. It states his age 18. In 1901 Welsh Census his residence is in Parish of Ystradyfodwg in Glamorgan it shows that he was age 40 and shows Estimated birth year about 1861 Birthplace London Middlesex, England. Next mention of him is his Death in 10 Feb 1906 age 43 Treherbert, Rhondda. Glamorgan. Would welcome any further information on him particularly getting his right age of date of birth and where in London he was born and relatives and if he had family in wales, for instance the reason why in 1901 he lived in Wales with his family was maybe he had welsh ancestry i dont know. Im keen to find out more about him. look forward to anyone getting in touch.
