Jill - I got notified of your post because it was an offshoot of mine I guess (even though you were aiming your post at Stacy) and I was wondering if I could talk to you more about something that you posted. You said that the mother's name on the birth certificate you received was Gladys Waddy. Is this correct? If so, my grandmother had a sister named Gladys, and they were born in SC and all eventually moved up to NJ area. The info I have from the 1920 census in Lancaster Co., SC has Gladys listed at age 8, which would mean she was born right around 1912. Is there anyway we could confirm and see if this is the same person? If so, I would *love* to add on to my family tree.
