Hi Phyllis, I first found John R. [initial on Census] King and family in 1880 in White River, Washington Co., AR. John b. AR, 23, farmer; Ovina [Census spelling] b. AR, 20 and Hosea M., b. AR, 1.

In 1910 the family was living in Township 5, Delaware Co., OK. John C., b. AR, 53, general farmer; Onnia [Census index spelling] b. AR, 50, had given birth to 9 children & 8 were living in 1910; Ada, b. MO, 18, single; George, b. OK, 14; and Francis (dau), b. OK, 10.

In 1920 the family was still living in Township 5. John C., b. AR, 63, general farmer; Orine [Census index spelling] b. AR, 59; Ada J., b. MO, 27, single; Frank Axford, b. WA, 22, son-law, laborer; Tennessee A. Axford, daughter, b. OK, 21 and Frances A., b. WA, 6/12.

In 1930 Ozine was living with her daughter Ada in West Wapato, Yakima Indian Reservation, Yakima Co., WA. Oliver A. Bronson, head household, b. Norway, marr @ 35, 50; Ada J. Bronson, b. MO, 38, marr @ 37 and Ozine King, mother law, b. AR, 70, widow.

Contact Secretary State for a copy of Ozine's obituary (hopefully), http://www.secstate.wa.gov/library/ask.aspx. They will search the newspaper microfilm for one hour at no charge & reply with what they find.

An Oliver Bronson who's last soc. sec. benefit check was mailed to Yakima was b. 14 Jan 1880 and d. Jan. 1968. His soc. sec. # was assigned in WA before 1951. Source: Social Security Death Index which anyone can access at no charge.

In 1920 Hosea & family were living in Wapato, Yakima Co. Hosea M., b. AR, 41, farm laborer; Mary F., b. KY, 32; Otis A., b. OK 15; Elmer Lac, b. OK, 12, Alonzo H., b. OK, 9 and John Lowery, b. PA, roomer.

In 1930 Hosea & part of his family were living in West College Place, Walla Walla Co., WA. Hosea M., b. AR, 51, marr @ 23, building construction carpenter; Mary F., b. KY, 42, marr @ 15; and Myrle, son, b. WA, 5.

Frank Axford married Tennessee King.

He was b. 30 Nov 1897, Pacific Co., WA per WWI Civilian Draft Reg.

Frank filled out his World War I Draft Reg. card Sept. 12, 1918 when he was living on California Ave., South Bend, Pacific Co., WA. He was b. 30 Nov. 1897. He was a ship yard laborer, Sanderson & Porter Ship Yard, Raymond, Pacific Co., WA. Nearest relative=Mrs. Tennessee Axford, South Bend. Frank was medium height w/ slender build with blue eyes & light brown hair.

In 1930 Frank and family living in Longview, Cowlitz Co., WA. Frank, b. wa, 31, marr @ 19, set up man lumber mill; Tennessee, b. OK, 30, marr @ 19; Frances, dau, b. WA, 10; Mildred, b. WA, 8; Robert b. WA, 6 and Clinton b. wa, 4.

A Frank Axford last soc. sec. check was mailed to Canby, Clackamas Co., OR. He was b. 30 Nov 1897 and d. Dec 1976. His soc. sec. # was assigned to him in WA before 1951. Source: SSDI.
