See Barbara Sherman post of 10/9/02 - will of Knight Reed mentions Laura Vorce. She was my gggrandfather's daughter so I am a little familiar with her. Not certain if your Laura and mine are the same one. My Laura married Henry Fobes in 1863 and they has two children born at Ellisburg, NY: Mary in 1864, and William in 1866. Any of this sound familiar? I haven't run across any other Laura Vorces in 25 years of search and research. Hope you find who you're looking for!
