Iím not siding with the government in this matter.
My address was: APO, San Francisco, CA.
We were not allowed to tell the folks back home where we were. (our mail was censored to keep some big mouth from telling the whole world where our troops were).
Yes you can probably find out the 1/22 division was changed to Americal but no records were kept as to where they were in country.
The first Marine division was in Nha Trang but again I canít tell you if they came in contact with agent orange.
Near the end of the war people were crying war crimes (yes so called Americans that believed the press). I donít want any records of me showing that I was anywhere else than San Francisco.
