John Dengler is my husband's uncle. He was an army medic and died in Binh Duong on Feb 28, 1968. The army told his family that he was shot trying to save a man who had been injured by a booby-trap. Mr. Cornwall was the only other man in their unit killed that day, so I assume it's the same story. Here's a site that can help you search for more info: www.no-quarter.org Hope that helps.
