He has all the paperwork to support his claim, every set of orders he received. He was court martialed over this ordeal and was busted down to Pvt. There were three others with him that were court martialed and a 4th that was a Captain at the time, J.B. West, who eventually got out of the Marine Corps and went into the Army, from which he retired. I don't know the other two names, except one is Carl and the other is Don. He was in EOD. His photo is on the wall in Fl at Elgin AFB. He was just there a couple of weeks ago. I've been with this person for over 3 yrs, you can't make up the nightmares he has almost every day. You might try reaching J B West as he goes around the country giving lectures on all this stuff. I don't have access to any of his service numbers or anything, but he does have 2 purple hearts and was awarded certificates and 2 Marine Corps belt buckles among other things. He has access to the VA Clinic and his children were allowed to use the GI Bill for school. He can't buy a home thru VA. I'm sorry, but you can't just make up everything that he went thru and is still tortured by. He wakes up at night with horrible nightmares.
