Karmen Vice-Nava(ID8732)I was going through "Vietnam War Forum" and found where you were searching those men who served with your father in the 2/19th Artillery 1st Air Cav Div 1965/66.My son, Paul L. Clark arrived in Vietnam Nov. 4,1966 and was put in Btry C 2/19th Artillery ABN 1st Air Cav Div Nov. 20,1966. He was there until Feb. 1967 when he was transferred to the 2/20th.In his letters home he didn't give any names of the men he was serving with therefore I didn't recognize any of the names you mentioned. He was assigned first to the 67N20 as helicopter mechanic but there were already too many Helicopter mechanics so they put him to Car Mechanic. He only had 4 vehicles to work on so they changed him to a gun bunny and that is what he did for the rest of his stay in the 2/19th.He died Sept 6,1967 when the helicopter he was crew chief on crashed, exploded and burned. Does your Dad remember a Paul Clark, tall, thin boy, wore glasses. Brown eyed and dark brown hair.
