What document does a Soldier at a funeral read? Recently a Louisiana Major read a document at a soldier's funeral and presented his family with a Purple Heart. But no one has the exact words that he reads. Email to the Louisiana National Guard go unanswered. This site has many stories but not the Purple Heart story: http://groups.msn.com/256thInfantryBrigade Part of the message stated it was formed by Gen. George Washington. Where is a copy of that document and what are the words? Thank you so much for your help - best regards, Gary Adams New Orleans, Louisiana LsuEdu @ msn com http://groups.msn.com/256thInfantryBrigade "Imagination...is the irrepressible revolutionist." |
