What document does a Soldier at a funeral read? Recently a Louisiana Major read a document at a soldier's funeral and presented his family with a Purple Heart.

But no one has the exact words that he reads. Email to the Louisiana National Guard go unanswered.

Part of the message stated it was formed by Gen. George Washington. Where is a copy of that document and what are the words?
