Larry ~ You're both right and wrong. Most of the USAF men based in Udorn, NKP, etc and died while involved in a 'direct' mission of the war are listed. However, there were many men based there with support Units that died from other causes (illness, accidents, etc) who are not listed on the Wall. I have compiled a database of all USAF casualties both in TH and Laos - broken down by the Unit they were with, type of airplane (or ground incident), and position in the plane. If you send me an email, I'd be happy to send you a copy of it (it's in Excel).
With regards to this specific thread, I've verified that the name that this lady listed was actually an Aussie - and his name is, in fact, listed on their 'Wall'.
I had responded initially only because we know that there are still numerous (US) names that have been forgotten and not added to the VN Wall that should be. I've helped out 4 families in the last 3 years get names etched on the Wall - including one USAF navigator - and am still researching other USAF names.
