Recently when filling out some legal forms, I was informed that since I served in the military during the Vietnam War, I was considered a Vietnam Veteran. I explained that I had been stationed overseas during the war, but not in vietnam. It was explained to me that men had served in WW1, WW2, and Korea and not been stationed in a combat zone, but were still considered veterans of those wars. I would certainly consider it an honor if I am classified as a Vietnam Veteran, or Vietnam Era Veteran, but would not want to claim anything I am not entitled to. any thoughts on helping me clear this up> thanks, Randall W.
