Yes, Ed, I screwed up your lineage a tad. Thank you for rubbing it in.
But, please, do not favor me (us?) with another long, meandering epistle that amounts to nothing new.
Your only point seems to be that these persons who deposed were infallible.
They were not, or the clerk was not. Either way, you have resisted your true family long enough. If you have a daughter, ask her to try to join the DAR with the lineage you think you have. This is a dare, a double dare, dear cousin. Please take me up on it.
Your ancestry awaits you here, said again and again. Ready when you are, we may say.
As for your aliases, most of us are proud to use our names upfront. As to your "working with real professional researchers," please name them. I'd like to be in touch. If you will not name them, we will have to assume they are fictional. If you will name them, I will be glad to acknowledge any credentials they might have to offer upon my contact. Meanwhile, both Doug and I have had the Van Sicklen family, independently and otherwise, under our respective microscopes for years. Both of us allow for properly documented corrections. Indeed, we are thrilled to have them. Ed, unfortunately, you are a one trick pony, with not a scintilla of your own research to which we may refer.
In the end, actually, alll things considered, I'm sort of jealous since you are twice descended from Ferdinandus Van Sicheler and Eva Antonise Jansen, while I can claim them but once.
If you won't use Excelsior, I will.
