Thanks, I have seen that information and it is one of the reasons I lean towards Zachariah. Unfortunately I know little else about him other than having seen his name on a list of tax payers in Greene County, Pennsylvania at the same time Henry Sr. was living there and I also have a copy of Henry Srs. will and a copy of the deeds from Mason County.
A Zachariah that may go back another generation shows up in the records of the Dutch Reformed Church, Kingston, New York in the late 1600s again when the Van Meters were there. This leads me to think they may have all moved on to New Jersey at or around the time John Van Meter and Sarah DuBois-Van Meter moved there circa 1700.
It was in that area that Zachariah was to have married Rosannah. The deed for Zachariah in Mason lists wife Rosannah. It all seems to come together as our Christinia and brother Anthony and possible brother Samuel all having been the children of Zach and Hannah.
