It appears that Levi Van Sickle is the son of Abraham Van Sickle and Mary Riffle of Mason County Virginia (now West Virginia). Abraham is the son of Anthony Van Sickle and Rebecca Van Meter.
I found Levi in the following censuses:
1880 Iowa, Wayne County, Walnut, Page 395
1870 Iowa, Wapello County, Pleasant, Page 234 (with a George Van Sickle, whom I assummed was a brother)
1860 Virginia, Mason County, District 1, Page 816 (in the household of Abraham Van Sickle, along with George and the rest of Levi's family).
1850 Virginia, Mason County, District 38, Page 371
Please Note: If you are using Ancestry.com's census images, the Van Sickle family is listed under the name of VANSACH in the 1850 Census and VANACKER in the 1860 Census.
Unfortunately, I have no other information on this family, other than what is posted in online trees. I hope this helps though!
P.S. My Van Sickle line lived in Louisa County, Iowa, not too far from where your family lived. They came there in the mid 1840's from the Miami Valley area of Ohio (Hamilton, Butler and Preble counties). My oldest Van Sickles that I have been able to trace are William Van Sickle and Rachel Jones, who were married in Cincinnati in 1818. I'm related to their son, Stephen.
