Dear Edee, I have an Ida Van Ness as daughter of William Bay Van Ness, died in November 7, 1928, was son of Harmon Bay V.N. Harmon Bay was the son of James Kent Van Ness, my gg grandfather, and he, Harmon had a brother, Edward Cowles Van Ness. He also had a brother named William Van Ness, an M.D., born January 12, 1827 whose second wife was Mary Saladin. They had a son named William.His father had a first wife named Belle and their daughter was named Adele.
