The last Will & Testament of JAMES SAMMONS deced was exibited in Court by BENJAMIN SAMMONS one of the Executors therein named proved by the oaths of THOMAS AVENT & JOHN SLEDGE two of the witnesses thereto & ordered to be recorded & on the motion of the said Executor who made oath thereto according to law & with LITTLEBERRY MASON his security entered into & acknowledged their bond in the penalty of Ten thousand pounds conditioned as the law directs Certificate is granted him for obtaining a probat thereof in due form.
