I am actually doing some research for a friend whom I believe to be the great great grandson of Thomas W. Norris, b. ca. 1810. My ultimate goal is to connect our two Norris families. For now, Thomas W. Norris is as far back as I can go on my friend's line, but I hope to have new documentation soon. I have made no connection for myself as of yet to this line. This is my friend's presumed line:

Lee Norris (my friend - I don't have his full name and birth date handy), son of
Thomas Atticus Norris, Jr., b. Sept. 22, 1921, d. Jan. 10, 1973, son of
Thomas Atticus Norris, b. Dec. 6, 1884, d. Dec. 2, 1957, probably son of
Thomas A. Norris, b. ca. 1840, d. ca. 1884 - 1900, possibly son of
Tho? (presumably Thomas) W. Norris, b. ca. 1810, d. ?

I also have 1880 and 1900 census information of the above Thomas A. Norris, b. ca. 1840. See my other post on this forum at http://genforum.genealogy.com/norris/messages/3701.html
If you have any other census information on these Norris families or if you can give me more info. on the pedigree of Martha Grant it would be greatly appreciated. I will also forward an email to you that I sent to my friend regarding progress on my research.
